Welcome to CrossFit Willow Glen

CrossFit Willow Glen was opened to offer ANYONE an opportunity to workout in an atmosphere similar to that found on a sports team - a place where you know everyone, where everyone you train with will welcome you, encourage you and push you to be your best. It is an atmosphere that encourages everyone to "battle" the workout together and come out the other side a better person (physically, mentally, and maybe even spiritually!) The added benefit is that you will also get in the best shape of your life! This is all done under the watchful eye of a "coach" and in classes that won't make you feel like you are a sardine swimming with a school of thousand other sardines!

and finally, some words to live by, CrossFit's "Fitness in 100 Words":
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics:pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstands, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. ROUTINE IS THE ENEMY. Keep workouts short and intense.

Regularly learn and play new sports!
