NEXT ON RAMP STARTING JULY 15TH!!! SIGN UP SOON AS SPACE IS LIMITED TO 10!To ensure that all clients have the best experience/workout possible, all new CrossFit Willow Glen clients will be required to take "On Ramp" Classes to learn some of the more technical movements and experience CrossFit without the pressure of time/weight requirements. These classes are geared to build on each other so that after the completion of the On Ramp program clients will have worked on all of the functional movements that will be experienced in a typical CrossFit class and will slowly build up fitness levels so that the clients can easily slide into the regularly scheduled classes with confidence.
Cost of On Ramp: $150
# of Sessions: 11
Members must make 80% of the scheduled Classes, as they build on each other. If this isn't possible the Member can schedule to "make-up" a missed session with a Trainer at a reduced hourly fee of $45.
The On Ramp classes are on Tuesday and Thursday 7-8pm. Members are also encouraged to attend the Open Saturday Class from 9-10am.
We often get the question "I am really fit and workout on a regular basis - can I skip the On Ramp Program?" We want to clarify that the On Ramp Classes aren't based on fitness but techniques and without knowledge of the Olympic Lifts (Clean & Jerk and Snatch) among others, it is impossible for a new member to take part in a class without risking injury to themselves.
If transferring from another CrossFit gym, the On Ramp Sessions won't be required, but the new member will be asked to come in and meet with a trainer to discuss their comfort with the technical movements.
If the scheduled days/times aren't convenient, we offer private training sessions at a rate of $70 per hour. It takes approximately 4-5 sessions to get new clients to a level where they can then join the regular classes.
